Construction is set to begin tomorrow on a set of apartments paid for through city and state grants. The Herald Bulletin reports that the project that will turn the Abbott Apartments on the corner of College Drive and East Eighth Street into an affordable place for low-income families to call home. The general contractor for the project is Homes by Karen LLC, which is a certified woman-owned business based in Muncie.
