A country duo with local ties has been nominated for one of the industry’s highest honors. Joey Martin Feek and Rory Feek, the country duo Joey+Rory, have been nominated for Best Vocal Duo by the Academy of Country Music. Joey Martin Feek, a native of Alexandria, is battling cancer and is in hospice care. The ACM Awards will air at 8 p.m. April 3 on CBS.
