Funeral services will be held today for a true friend of the community. Services for Dr. Phil Ball will be held later today at Meeks Mortuary. Dr. Ball practiced medicine for nearly sixty years and since 1954, wrote columns for the Muncie Star and the Muncie Evening Press. Ball was a veteran of World War II and was married for 71 years.
