If you build it, they will come. That is the hope of Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler, as the city released details for developers for the nearly $50 million dollar proposed White River Canal District. The city now officially asking for Development Proposals from commercial developers. It includes conceptual drawings for commercial development, restaurants and living space. They’re hoping to provide high-quality urban housing with modern amenities to stop the population loss.
