A 22-year-old Muncie man is recuperating after receiving injuries in a horrific crash in Randolph County Friday. Gabriel Smith was driving along U.S. 36 when he slammed into the rear end of a semi-truck. His car was pinned in the back of the tractor trailer and dragged several hundred feet. Rescuers were able to get Smith from the vehicle, and he was taken to a Richmond hospital.
