The question why Ball State’s president abruptly resigned is not going away. The college’s Faculty Council has named a committee that will look at the way the university contracts with educators and propose changes. The college’s written agreement to pay the President nearly a half-a-million dollars to leave and not explaining why is troubling to many. A telecom professor last week said the public has the right to know why taxpayer dollars are being spent in this way. He introduced a resolution last week at their council meeting.
