We’re following up to day about a possible battery case involving a staff member at Delta High School and a juvenile student. The school administration isn’t providing much information at this point in their investigation, saying it’s a personnel matter. What we do know is that an incident was reported last Wednesday concerning what they’re calling “potentially inappropriate actions” about 3:45 p.m. by a staff member. The sheriff’s office was notified and investigated on Thursday. They’re checking surveillance video and interviewing others. The school will not say if the staff member was suspended.
