A Muncie teenager who allegedly forced his way into a home on North Everbrook Lane wearing only boxer shorts and a ski mask, was arrested last night. City police say 19-year-old Austin Atkins claimed to have a gun and demanded money from the victims. He was reportedly recognized by the victims and ran from the home without money. He was arrested later after a tip at the Best Western on West Bethel Ave. Police are charging him with possession and dealing in a controlled substance after a hotel guest told police Atkins tried to sell him Xanax and Percocet. He’s in Delaware County Jail with bond set at $32,500.
