A follow up to the story of a man who threatened an eight-year-old boy with a screwdriver at a local grocery store last month. William Rothel is now in jail, after his probation was revoked today following a hearing in Madison Circuit Court. His attorney is asking for psychiatrists to evaluate the man and has filed an insanity defense on his behalf. He’s facing battery, strangulation, kidnapping and criminal confinement charges.
