Production at a new Anderson plant will soon begin. That’s the word from Greg Winkler, director of the Anderson Economic Development Department. Italian company “Sirmax” is set to begin production by the end of February. The company produces plastics used in “white goods,” such as appliances, and in the automotive industry and will hire 20 Anderson residents to start production on the former Guide Corporation property.
