A Muncie man has taken a plea deal with prosecutors and plead guilty to shooing another man last summer on East Adams St. 27-year-old Brandon Slay pleaded guilty to aggravated battery. The terms of the deal have not been announced, and the judge will decide if the deal is accepted. Sentencing is set for Feb 3rd. Typically the conviction carries a penalty of 16 years in prison.
