It’s official. Dr. Jennifer McCormick, the superintendent of Yorktown Community Schools, has announced her candidacy for Superintendent of Public Instruction. In a press conference at the Indiana Statehouse Thursday, the nationally-recognized innovator and leader in education outlined her goals’ including a system that strives for excellence rather than focusing on political squabbling.
