Five years after Indiana banned texting while driving; legislators may look at clamping down on other cell phone distractions. The law prohibits sending texts or emails while driving, but neglected to cover surfing the web. Phones have gotten more sophisticated; drivers now tweet, play games, or watch videos on their phones when they should be watching the road. A bill has been introduced to revisit the law and get ahead of any future apps by defining not what’s prohibited, but what’s allowed.
