Indiana Michigan Power begins 2016 by bringing the power of the sun to generate some of its energy. The Deer Creek Solar Facility, just south of Marion went online Dec. 31. I&M says they will build three more large-scale facilities this year in Indiana and Michigan. Together, the four sites will have the capacity to generate enough energy to power the equivalent of 2,000 homes for a year.
