The Madison County Sheriff’s Department is getting a boost from Hoosier Park Racing & Casino in the efforts to raise the funds to purchase a new K-9 unit. Hoosier Park has announced that it is providing $5,000 in matching funds for the next $5,000 raised by the department. The funds are being raised for a new K-9 partner after the unexpected death of police dog “Diesel” back in October.
