A driving instructor was killed trying to do his job. Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s officials say the 69-year-old man died from injuries after a student driver he was with stopped abruptly while preparing to turn when a pickup truck crashed into the back of the driving school’s car. The teen driver was treated and released.
