Delaware County has more discovered meth labs in the state than any other county, according to Prosecutor Jeffrey Arnold. He told state legislators yesterday that 234 meth labs were found in Delaware County, followed by 70 meth labs in Noble County last year, that’s nearly three times as many. Arnold said the state should make the over-the-counter medication used to make meth a prescription medication, to control the amount consumers can acquire. Arnold also said the legislators should “stand up to the pharmaceutical companies who only have a fiscal interest” in the meth crisis.
