The City of Anderson is writing off more than 900-thousand dollars in unpaid utility bills from 2014. The Anderson Board of Public Works has approved the write-off. Sharon Riddle is a consultant with the utility departments; she says the unpaid bills for business and residential properties can still be collected, but the write-off was taken to balance the utility department ledgers.
